Concept Development
Deep consultations with farmers, agri experts, FPOs, and institutions helped shape Meghdoot’s core framework grounded in real problems, not assumptions.
Year 2020
Foundation
The idea of Meghdoot was born from extensive field experience and policy engagement, recognising the urgent need for a unified digital ecosystem for Indian farmers.

Platform Design
Thematic pillars were finalised, focusing on personalised advisory, weather intelligence, mechanisation access, financial inclusion, market linkages, and capacity building.
Year 2024
Institutional Alignment
Meghdoot aligned its approach with national priorities on farmer income enhancement, climate resilience, and digital agriculture, engaging with CSR and policy stakeholders.
